If you're new to recurring direct deposit, your deposit can take up to two pay cycles to be switched over to your Chime Checking Account. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to two days earlier than the scheduled payment date. Why didn’t I get paid up to two days early with my direct deposit?Įarly access to your direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. If it’s past your pay date, we suggest that you contact your employer, payroll provider or benefits payer directly to confirm the deposit details. When your employer, payroll provider or benefits payer initiates a direct deposit, it goes through several steps before arriving at Chime.Īs soon as your direct deposit arrives, we’ll send you a push notification (if you have them enabled in Settings ) and an email to let you know. In some instances, factors outside of Chime’s control cause deposits to be late.
